Providing SUC-2500C with Magic Software

Get the program hloader102  here.

Unzip it and install it on your computer.

Get also a Magic software. A good version is for example penta109 . You also need the software dream_load.

WARNING! don't take all these patches from the Internet. Be sure that you download the Magic patches from sites that can be trusted. You must avoid the Penta 1.10 and 1.11 because there are a lot of fakes on the net. These fakes destroy your receiver. The version that can be downloaded from here is OK. I use this by myself.

Take the  programmer for the Nextwave, connect it to your computer true a nullmodem cable. Put the programmer with the contacts down in to the receiver.

Attention: this so called programmer is NOT THE SAME as the Magic programme r!

Start the program hloader, chose the correct COM port and select Block 0. Also select the file that is stored in the directory of dream_load.

Click on Connect and turn the receiver on. Normally, the download starts by itself. If it doesn't start with downloading the click on Send. The red and green leds on the programmer must be flashing now. This is the tranmission of the data.

If this dream_load is in the receiver then select now Block 4 and the penta software.

Again, click on Connect and turn the receiver on. Normally, the download starts by itself. If it doesn't start with downloading then click on Send. The red and green leds on the programmer must be flashing now. This is the transmission of the data.

If the download is finished then you disconnect the powersupply and plug in the powersupply again. Take a look in the menu of the CI. There you can see Penta 1.09. If this isn't the case then there is something wrong and then you have to start again from the beginning.
